WARN has answered the call of adventurous motorcyclists everywhere by introducing this innovative, compact and powerful tool that is sure to become the gold standard for riders who thrive on getting OFF the beaten path. As we all know, big adventure bikes can become a handful in difficult terrain. The XT17 and RT15 portable winches are not only useful in recovery operations, they also open up riding options where turning around would be the only other option. Winch you and your riding buddies across, over and through difficult obstacles and avoid what would sometime be a 50 mile backtrack.

The brilliance of these winches is evident in that they can pull a motorcycle bike, ATV or UTV from any direction as it is not hard-mounted to the vehicle. They can even pull other vehicles that are not equipped with a winch—all you need is a sturdy anchor of some sort. Even winching a “dead” bike into the back of a pick-up will no longer be a chore. AWESOME!!

Kurt used the XT17 the first time he mounted on the 950 Super Enduro after a fellow rider went over the side of a clift. A crane or tow truck would have been the only option for recovery and being 25 miles from the nearest paved road, would have been a costly and time consuming proposition. Instead, the WARN XT17 had the bike recovered and back on the road in 30 minutes, without wearing out the entire riding group.  He won\'t ride off-road without one again!
