Black Dog Cycle Works Skid Plate for the KTM 950 / 990 Adventure

We have been producing and refining this skid plate for over 6 years and it has proven it's worth to our customers WORLDWIDE over and over again.  Don't accept imitations - only the original Black Dog skid plate offers MAXIMUM protection to your KTM!

This design has enhanced side stand protection as well as thicker material in the front and rear mounting tabs, making the stongest skid plate on the market EVEN STRONGER! In addition, all skid plates now include a "shok blok" to help absorb those really BIG hits and to protect the mounting points.

Made from 5mm aluminum and finished in a black based "silver vein" powdercoat inside and outside. The skid plate will mount using the existing mounting locations and using the stock screws and rubber bushings. The plate was designed to cover more of the critically exposed lower front end of the 950 and 990. This added protection is vital to protect the sensitive components located at the bottom of the engine, the engine case, clutch cover and ignition cover. Also includes integrated side-stand switch protection.

This skid plate IS compatible with Hepco Becker, KTM, Touratech and the "new-style" SW Motech crash bars for the 950 & 990 Adventure (part no. SBL.04.488.100)  For the "old-style"  950 Adventure SW Motech crash bars you will need to purchase the SWMotech adapter kit.
