More Information About Rigid Industries LED Lighting 

We believe that good lighting is a vitally important element of motorcycling. Whether the goal is to increase daytime conspicuity or to improve your nighttime visibility, high quality lighting is not only safer but it also makes riding after the sun goes down much more enjoyable. Couple this with the fact that the leading cause of motorcycle-related accidents involves another driver taking a left turn in front of a motorcycle they "didn't see" - Good lighting can save your hide!!

Virtually every vehicle (both two and four wheeled) we have owned over the years has been subject to some type of lighting "enhancement". Needless to say, we have a LOT of experience with various type of lighting and we have found the RIGID "E-series" LED lights to be both absolutely reliable and they put out an awesome quality light that is ahead of the curve for LED technology. In addition, their new Single Row (SR) -series has proven to throw out an incredible amount of light in a very low profile package.

Advantages of Rigid LED Lights Over Halogen or HID Lights:

Rigid LED lights are now available in AMBER as well as the standard WHITE. Advantages of the Amber Series:

• Amber light is non-reflective and will cut through the harshest conditions.
• Ideal for increasing visibility in dust, fog, snow, smoke and rain.
• All Amber Series lights carry the same limited lifetime warranty and patented optics.

• Dually 2x2 lights - a very versatile light with great light output that can be used in all conditions.  If aimed properly, will not annoy oncoming traffic.  We recommend the SPOT pattern for all motorcycle applications.  The FLOOD pattern of these lights dispurses the light too much for effective use on a motorcycle.  While flood pattern is great for a backup light on a vehicle, it is not the optimal selection for motorcycle use.
• Dually D2 lights - An absolutely amazing light when maximum light is desired.  In the comparison tests we have done, even against lights that are twice as expensive, the D2 light simply blows away the competition. These lights are far too bright to run with oncoming traffic but excellent for off-road conditions or rural driving at night.  The DRIVING pattern with its combined 9 degree and 18 degree reflectors does an amazing job of throwing the light far down the road as well as illuminating the sides of the road.  They are by far the most impressive lights we have ever used.
• E-Series 4" lights - The BMW GS series are the only motorcycles we are aware of that can accommodate these lights, given their rather large footprint.  The lights are very impressive looking, but only provide about 10% more light output than the 2x2 lights, while costing almost 3x as much.

• WHITE beam - again, a very versitile light that can be used to add to your conspicuity during the day as well as your vision at night.
• AMBER beam  - if your primary goal is to be seen by others during the day, the amber lights are unparalleled.  The brilliant amber color of these lights can't help but grab the attention of fellow drivers.  Excellent in fog and dust conditions, as well.  These lights will slightly improve visibility at night but not as effectively as the white beams.
• Amber Dually Covers - Rigid Industries now offers amber covers to give you the ultimate in lighting flexibility - pop them on to increase your visibility by others during the day, and pop them off to improve your nighttime visibility.  Fits both the Dually 2x2 and D2 lights.  Sold individually
