This rack creates additional carrying capacity for solo riders by removing the passenger seat and replacing it with a beautifully machined pillion rack. It literally takes SECONDS to swap from a solo to two-up configuration!
"We have replicated the underside of the passenger seat so the Black Dog Cycle Works Pillion Rack clips in place in seconds using the seat latch mechanism. The rack is extremely stable as we also have supports that rest on the frame of the bike making it a very stout platform for carrying extra luggage. As an added bonus. we pre-drilled the Pillion Rack to carry a 1 gallon RotoPax container. - Version 1 is our original design that is NOT compatible with the top case support bracket
- Version 2 is our new design that IS compatible with the top case support bracket
